1501 Entertainment fires back at Megan Thee Stallion, claiming they are owed more than $10m in royalties, touring revenue, and more

As last reported, Megan Thee Stallion formally demanded $1m from her record label, 1501 Entertainment, and doubled down on her claim that Something For Thee Hotties constitutes as an album under her record agreement. In the latest news, 1501 Entertainment is claiming the rapper owes them $10m.

MTS has recently released an album titled Traumazine, which was leaked prior to release to which she has launched an investigation into who was responsible. With the release of this album, she argues that her label requirements are now fulfilled, something 1501 Entertainment disagrees with.

Now 1501 Certified Entertainment is pushing back against allegations and making a series of counterclaims. The label claim that Something For Thee Hotties does not substitute as an album per her recording agreement. If it doesn’t, 1501 will. be owed another album by her.

1501 believes that MTS may owe them for than $10m based on published reports of the rapper’s net worth and annual income. They are also seeking an order compelling Megan Thee Stallion to cover its expenses and fees incurred in the infringement lawsuits.
