Despite a US punk group of the same name suing them for trademark infringment, One Direction refuse to change their name.
The BBC website reported that Californian lawyers want an injunction to stop the UK group using the name. Speaking about what would happen , Zayn Malik said” We don’t have any idea but we are not changing our name”
The BBC website reported that “The five-piece American One Direction have told Newsbeat they won’t be
intimidated by Simon Cowell and revealed they have received death threats
and hate mail over the row”.
The only direction this looks like going is to court!
