Iggy Azalea has sold her recording and publishing catalogue to Domain Capital for an ‘eight figure sum.’ “I don’t have to work another day in my life” says Azalea.
Iggy’s back catalogue includes hits such as Fancy, Beg for It, Work and Black Widow. With these hits still featuring on TV shows, movies and are still making their rounds on the radio, Domain Capital has cashed in on an exceptionally profitable catalogue.
This deal is another example of the growing trend of artists selling their catalogue to large investment firms. Iggy Azalea is the latest big name to sell, with rumours of Pink Floyd still in negotiations to sell their catalogue.
