Cheryl Cole sues Now Magazine

Cheryl Cole has filed papers in the High Court against publishers IPC Media. A story published in Now Magazine which claimed that Cheryl was in a ‘secret relationship’ with rapper MC Harvey is a story that has attracted legal action.
Cheryl Cole is suing for aggravated damages for Libel and seeking an injunction to prevent IPC from publishing the information again. Cheryl Cole is also suing for a story published a week later headlined “Cheryl and Harvey: The Proof”.
Ms Cole has accused IPC Media of misusing private information about her in their stories. The alleged story appeared on the front three pages of the Magazine February 6, her claim states.
Ms Cole has denied the rumours of her relationship with Harvey through a Twitter dispute between the two stars of which she tweeted ‘”Was this relationship happening in your head?” of which the rapper replied “I’d rather go broke and work at Sainsbury’s than talk about Cole’s personal life.”
