Mickey Hart, real name Michael Hartman, the former drummer of iconic hippie band Grateful Dead, has found himself in a bit of trouble with the law. Hart, who played with the band from 1967 until their disbandment in 1995, has been filed an arrest warrant by police after being accused of assaulting a spectator at a Mickey Hart Band concert on September 8th in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. Hart, who continues to play on and off with various former band mates and who has also had a successful solo career (winning a Grammy and spending 26 weeks at Number 1 on the Billboard World Music Chart for his album Planet Drum), has yet to comment. His team is said to be looking into the situation.
