Travis Scott is facing another lawsuit in relation to unsafe conditions at
his concerts. The lawsuit was filed against Rolling Loud organisers in
2020 by Marchelle Love, in which Travis Scott was added as a defendant
last month after Love says she experience severe injuries during the May
2019 concert.
Love’s attorneys state that police rushed backstage shortly after Scott
began his set, demanding that he shut it down due to unruly and unsafe
conditions, but Scott ignored pleas and continued his performance. Scott
allegedly incited the crowd to engage in a mosh pit and other hazardous
activities.
However, lawyers for Travis Scott have stated this is a cynical attempt to
attack Travis over a three-year-old incident that has been deliberately
misrepresented. His lawyers claim that the incident was related to a false
report of a shooting mid-show, which allegedly caused the stampede.
This lawsuit comes on the back of the ongoing lawsuits against Travis
regarding his Astroworld Festival disaster, with it being revealed three
weeks ago that almost 5,000 people had been injured and almost 2,500
attendees needed medical treatment.
