WOWfest in trouble?

This Friday was the last date for the organisers of WOWfest to pay £140,000 upfront for the policing, fire service and the council.
An Isle of Wight Council spokesman told the press  “they would be considering the implications of the non-payment.” Meanwhile Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary has submitted an application for the event’s licence to be reviewed following the non-payment.
The consultation period on the review will end on June 29 and the application to review will be available to view on the council’s website from Wednesday, June 6 via: http://www.iwight.com/council/departments/licensing/licenceconsultationlist
